So… Why Has Shipping Suddenly Become So Complicated? 😅📦

If you’ve ordered from us recently within EU, you may have received a slightly unusual message about shipping to your country.

And you might be wondering:

“Wait… I just wanted a SpinBeanie. What does packaging have to do with this?” 😂

Well… welcome to our latest adventure.

The short version: EU packaging rules 📦

A new EU regulation called the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) is bringing new requirements for businesses around packaging and packaging waste.

We absolutely understand the goal — less waste and more sustainable packaging is a good thing! 🌱

But for a small business like ours, figuring out exactly what all of this means for every country we ship to is… well… a hassle.😅

So what does this mean for your order?

While we're working on adapting our packaging and shipping processes, we may temporarily be unable to ship directly to some EU countries.

We know that's frustrating.

You ordered a beanie.

You did not sign up for a side quest involving European packaging legislation. 😂

Luckily, we've found a temporary solution for some countries through LogoiX, a German parcel forwarding service.

The basic idea is:

Us → your German LogoiX address → LogoiX → you

So your order can still make its way to you, just with one extra stop along the way.

There is an additional forwarding fee charged by LogoiX, which unfortunately isn't something we control. We know this isn't ideal, so we'll always do our best to find the fairest solution we can.

We're currently figuring out the new requirements and adapting our processes so we can get back to shipping normally as soon as possible.

We’re just a small family business, so we’re figuring all of this out as we go.
